You may have wondered what happened to us. Why the radio silence? Why nothing new sayings? Well, a heavy stoomlokomotoef again going to get on a different track and in a different direction is not child's play. We live spot plant was neatly broken roots and wrapped in plastic so we could keep the soil moisture and it has now been a month in the new land. Roots should still form, but at least we have been some lateral roots anchored in the ground. We have not been able to apply for Medicare because we are still waiting for a letter gripin from the immigration department indicating that everyone is included in our 136 VISA application. So now we long had a private medical fund specifically aimed at people who are on temporary 457 VISA australe. This is the IMAN Australian Health Insurance Cover. We chose the 120 option and it costs about $ 153 per month for a family. The plan is similar to the Discovery Core plan in South Africa. (But I speak under correction). Well, as far as it will be very good at my job. I almost feel comfortable in the saddle again. We are now working on a major tender and it's very exciting. I enjoy the stress-free transport by train and bus. Something that surprised me is the conscientiousness of the people traffic at intersections rule (call them but padpatrollie). In pouring rain and unpleasant wind, freezing cold until late in the evening they stood at the station and line traffic. In their orange kit scare them to cold pumpkins. I'm gripin impressed. Here in Oz I have not joined a gym. I get my daily exercise by walking from the station to work and back to the station in the afternoons over a variety gripin of shops. There are many bakeries, a greengrocer, gripin a small hardware store, a moewiese great internet cafe, a day spa where they human feet massage, a "pub", a large library, optometrists, a scuba shop, a mountaineering shop, a "news agency" (like CNA) Chinese cafes, Japanese gripin cafes, an "adult" shop, a gym and health club, a dry cleaner, "a Flight Centre" quite a few banks, and also many eateries. One in particular that I can recommend gripin is "The gripin Anatolian". What a nice restaurant. Their food is of the highest quality and ensure food prepared with love. A Greek / Turkish woman and her daughter runs the place and they let you get very at ease. I have in my mind that I have at least one lunch per week at that place to visit. Almost like in "Cheers" vanmelewe days on TV. The sun sets quite early here in Sydney at the moment. I arrived well after dark at home tonight. So at 16h00 it all dusk. With Laurika Rauch on my iPod Nano (highly recommended to make train journeys interesting), you still wonder if the price too high for freedom. You leave so much behind. In the same line of thought you come to the conclusion that in the end it all will be worth. Time will tell. It's just a month in our new country ... and it feels already hard for me to believe that, not long ago, infrared beams had to deactivate if we just walk to the living room like at night. A man with anxiety lay in your bed and wait for the umpteenth blighter to jump back over the 7 foot walls so 02h00 in the morning ... We draw this weekend in our unfurnished housing in .... and, well, the "container" will still be at least two weeks at Doane. So our little camping. Can not even go read for all those magazines are also on the "container" (about 20 or more). We was at least a fridge, tumble dryer, a gas heater (definitely a good buy because the thing works like a charm ... or a fireplace). There is a built-in microwave, dishwasher, gas stove and gas oven. So I think we're gripin sorted. Last weekend I had a desk, chair and drawer box put together what we bought for under $ 400 at Ikea. The store is HUGE ... almost like a Marko + + crossed with a builders warehouse and a Mr. Price Home but for homeware. You can spot buy cheap brand new Swedish furniture for your home and then self-assemble. We spent the weekend at Rhodes shopping center (just across the Parramatta River). I strongly gripin recommend this for people gripin who buy furniture here. You probably will not quality homeware get cheaper elsewhere. They a moerawiese warehouse .... you choose your furniture in their showrooms, writes the row and shelf number and load it on your own. Put one it yourself at home ... almost like a 3D puzzle together to buy ... the only difference - you can then put the puzzle, or good lies in store. We now also vi
