A special day so the week after Easter. Delicious dinner at John and Judith. And in the evening an interesting gathering of grassroots sciences, hosted this time by Ilea. The theme was the spread of IRC, especially in India, but also the experience in Madagascar and Ecuador were discussed. Nice discussion of knowledge, science and the results of agro-ecological techniques especially rice cultivation. Steve likened science with a microscope. In me the memory lingers of science as a microscope anton ewald with my interpretation as: floor in a small area and horse valves on the bigger picture. anton ewald During the day I read a wonderful book by a co-investigator in Bolivia. I feel much affinity with what and how he has studied. We have many of the same people said the same moments witnessed or monitored. I want this whole more in depth with more lenses with it; a gender lens, but also an ecological and geographical. Apparently, I am trying to capture in a scientific look a larger whole. My summary back over the last 12 years, I've almost finished, is not always cheerful. Maybe because I love there is not much I have written, because my poems and poem inspiration disappeared or because I have not mentioned that I occasionally do to laughter meditation. Also, all the misery I have not mentioned. So maybe it's quite a balanced back.
