Tired? From Baruch?
Baruch, a Hebrew word that means "blessing", is the brainchild of Natalie barstool Scheepers Stellenbosch three years ago, her maid, Rosie, the potential seen as a keen driver and housekeeper. A year later an old house converted to a guest house with a French style with slightly Bohemian and something from Africa! Two years later, Baruch is one of the most beautiful guest houses in Stellenbosch with local and international guests.
The furniture is a mix of styles, which are arranged together to entice you to repeatedly to the same aisle, pebbles, staring bowls and lamps. Each lamp in each room has its story; This one was bought in Mexico and that one probably next to a main road.
Each room, although praised alike enthralled guests with a theme that even stories can be written. The Rose Room is named after Rosie, the manager. The room was inspired by Rosie and her family eventually joined the management team of Baruch. Rosie's daughter, Samantha, and her husband, Daniel, works today as a cleaner and gardener.
Room With A View is the area with the most beautiful view of the garden and Simonsberg. The garden has a swimming pool and seating for warm days. The reading room with antique furniture and an old-world feel will be a winner in winter.
Although the artist of the most paintings Natalie's mother, most of the items found in antique shops and vlooimarkies. The bowls on one side of the breakfast room came from Morocco for an unrefined African feel, while the opposite barstool corner lounge-real french occur; painting with blue Italian ice cream has been an inspiration barstool to decorate the venue with guava colors. It is the interesting combinations and the genial atmosphere together barstool with the smell of freshly baked biscuits you excited for the blessings of life, and the stories behind every corner waiting to be told. And beyond? The photos barstool tell the story so much better:
